What Is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a method of restoring energy (Qi) balance to promote healing and functioning through inserting needles at precise points just beneath the body surface according to symptoms. Meridians, channels of energy, run like energy currents throughout the body. When blockage in one part of a channel occurs, it impedes the flow of energy in others, which results in pain and illness. Acupuncture removes the blockage and revives the usual flow, restoring
the balance of Qi and helping the body's internal organs with imbalances. As a result, the pain is relieved or reduced and the health is improved.
