Balinese-style fish


  • One white fish fillet
  • One stick of lemongrass
  • One shallot
  • One half clove of garlic
  • 2 slices of fresh ginger
  • 2 slices of fresh galangal
  • 1 cm fresh turmeric (turmeric)
  • 3 kaffir lime leaves
  • A little fresh red chili pepper
  • A drizzle of oil
  • Salt



Mince all the ingredients (not the fish) and add a drizzle of oil. Mix well and put this paste on the fish. Steam it for plus or minus 5 minutes (depends on the height of the fillet!). Serve immediately.
